Visit to the Battery 28th March 2001
Due to the floods and Battery commitments, Inkerman Day 2000 was held late
a small band of former members were invited to attend. Terry Walton on behalf of the members would like to thank the BC Major Speirs, WO2 (BSM) Topham and all the Battery members in making it a day to remember. The Battery laid on various static displays.
1. Arty Int
2. FSCC
3. B-mets
4. AS90 (Thanks to 38 Bty)
5. Warrior OP Vehicle (Thanks to 38 Bty)
We were also treated to a musical display by the pipe and drums of the Battery.
This was done while under pressure of the new Commanding Officers Lt Col Smith RA visit to the Battery lines.
Then a 60s/70s theme fancy dress bash was held in the evening.
Well done to all who dressed up in fancy dress to help make the evening enjoyable and successful.
