1st July 1889 Became 19th Field Battery RA + 3rd February 1899 Became 19th Battery RFA
March 1924 Became 19th Field Battery RA
As part of reorganisation of the Artillery the Battery was re-designated 49 Battery RA in March 1947 , as a sub unit of 23 Field Regiment Royal Artillery.
